The Fastensol F-TH04 is a stainless steel roof hook for mounting solar panels in portrait orientation on natural slate roofs. Its flat-profile arm is shaped to slide under slate without lifting or cracking it, which matters on older and heritage roofs where the covering is brittle and expensive to replace.

The hook fixes directly to the rafter (minimum 25 x 80mm), the slate is replaced over the fixing so the roof stays weathertight, and the rail then clamps to the hook. Suits roof pitches from 10° to 60° and panel thicknesses from 30 to 46mm. Fastensol systems carry a 12-year warranty.
