The AlphaESS DTSU energy meter supplied with six current transformer clamps. The meter is how an AlphaESS hybrid inverter sees exactly what the property is importing and exporting, which is what makes accurate self-consumption control and export limiting possible.

Six clamps allow two three-phase measurement points, so the meter can monitor the grid connection and an existing PV array or sub-circuit at the same time useful on retrofits where there is already generation on site.
